Fixing Resolution on iMacs

If the items on your screen are appearing too large or too small, follow these steps to adjust your resolution.

1) Click the apple menu in the top left corner of your screen and select "System Preferences."

2) Choose Displays from the grid of System Preferences

3) Adjust your resolution in the display tab. If your icons and programs are too big, then choose a higher number. If everything is too small, choose a lower number. 1680x1050 is the default for most of our iMacs' displays, and is generally the recommended choice.
